Spanish Typographic Landscapes
In developing “resistance activities” containing the idea of displacement, I make frequent trips to take these photographs. Parallel to these series comes “Spanish Typographic landscapes” about places for traveler’s rest stop. How landscapes are configured around the roads, and its evolution with time as well as the disuse of certain routes. Often are installed large signs announcing the rest areas, hotels and restaurants. I’m interested in how these elements form a distinctive landscape. And with the passage of time and the abandonment of some routes makes all these things remain as traces of the past.
The series is open since 2009
