We love geometry.
“We Love Geometry” continues the studio’s line of self-promotional notebooks. It consists of the publication of two parts that work together. The first of these is “Love”, which is a small box containing a series of cards and fold-out posters; on the back of each card are some very basic notes on geometry which have been used as an excuse to create the small fold-out poster that follows. Card number 3 refers to “the modular grid”, number 7 to “the triangle”, number 9 to “the line”, and so on. The cards and their accompanying posters are related not only by the explanatory text on each card, but also by their shape. On seeing the set of abstract images on the back of each card, you realise that, in fact, they represent numbers and therefore structure and put into order the series of cards and fold-out posters. In short, the two pieces that comprise “We Love Typography” represent our “declaration of love” towards geometry and geometric abstraction.The second item that rounds off this project is called “Do you love?”, and is a notebook that comes with the little “Love” box. The notebook is divided into nine sections and invites its recipient to create his or her own graphic ideas on the aspects contained in the box. We thus invited people to take a playful approach to the subject of geometry.
