Manuela Ballester (Book).
Catalog of more than 400 pages edited for the exhibition “Manuela Ballester. Paint in front of everything.” It includes paintings, illustrations in magazines and covers for editorials, posters and mural and advertising projects. These works are put in context with photographs, publications, archival documents and press clippings that help to understand the scope and importance of the artistic activity of the Valencian painter. A good number of photographic negatives from the Fundació Josep Renau deposit have been digitized specifically for publication. The book has been “stuffed” with these images throughout its four sections, humanizing the publication in which both the artistic work and personal life of Manuela Ballester are reflected.
